The Dragon Tree Origins

Fascinated by all things botany, alchemy, and academic study, AJ Abrehart left her tumultuous homeland and ventured towards lands unknown, in search of the fabled Dragonlands of legend.
Armed only with a satchel of paper for note-taking, a compass, and a healthy dose of courage, she stumbled for months after any rumour- any sound or sighting- that might point her towards Dragonkind.
As her hope began to fray, she risked one final hunch: to travel beyond the last edge of the map.
Believing her quest to be a folly of female fancy, no sailor would aid her passage towards uncharted waters.
Yet her tenacity at last paid off. She ventured beyond what was known, and stepped foot on land no chart had bothered to name.
From then on, Miss Abrehart devoted her life to researching and documenting Dragonkind- recording their habits, signs, and strange quiet traces, and setting down all she witnessed with the care of a true scholar.
Now, with faded ink and frayed edges, her journal has found its way into the hands of her descendant- each careful sketch and margin-note serving as a guide for bringing the Dragonlands' sleeping magic back into the modern world.
